Derek Hess is an Ohio-based
artist who's incredible poster artwork for rock bands
has become well known, and also has pursued more
adventures including the designing of CD covers by R.L.
Burnside, Converge, and others. He also has created the
artwork for the Captain America comics series, as well
as many magazine covers. His first portfolio is also
part of a permanent collection at the Rock and Roll Hall
of Fame and Museum. Hess has created hundreds of posters
for varied bands, ranging from Pink Floyd, Pearl Jam,
Pantera, Offspring, Nine Inch Nails to Thursday and
Dillinger Escape Plan to name a few. He designed the
artwork for the re-launch of Headbanger's Ball (see
image to the left). He has created the artwork for
Poison The Well's merchandise, which you can purchase
here at RMU. He has launched his Strhess clothing line
with incredible artwork and imagery. Out of respect for
this great artist, we are carrying his clothing line. We
